What exactly is the Empty Bowls Project?

The basic premise is simple:
Guests purchase tickets to a simple meal of soup, bread and dessert donated by area restaurants and the bowl goes home as an unspoken reminder that somewhere someone’s bowl is empty and of the uncertainty that homeless families face daily.

An event of FOOD, ART AND COMMUNITY  Fabulous soups donated by restaurants and organisations across the shire, family-friendly entertainment, a silent auction of ceramic art and celebrity- bowls, not to mention an incredible assortment of handmade ceramic bowls donated by dozens of ceramic artists and students.
