Helping each other - Sunday 29 March 2020

UPDATE 19 MARCH 2020 Due to the current Public Health situation our proposed sale day has been postponed indefinitely.  We hope to reschedule later in the year.  In the meantime stay well and enjoy your clay activities.

Several of our older members have retired.  The contents of their studios have been donated to help us raise funds for a potter who lost all but his house in the ferocious bush fires in December 2019.
Steve Harrison and his partner Janine King are both well liked and respected by our members. Steve taught many of us at TAFE and many of our members have attended special firing days at their property in Balmoral Village in the Southern Highlands of NSW.  The pottery studio and kiln building workshop were burnt to the ground and Steve barely escaped by preparing a just in case kiln fibre shelter.
With no buildings to store materials we will sell off the donated materials and give the money so they can buy what they need to get back on their feet.

We will have 3 Silent Auctions so even non-potters will find something of interest on our Sale Day.

Our thanks go to the Management of Hazelhurst Arts Centre for their support.
More details will be posted on Facebook and Instagram in the coming weeks.
