Notice of Annual General Meeting
Dear Members and Friends
Our Annual General Meeting is when we nominate and vote for a new committee for the next twelve months.
This year our meeting will be Chaired by Maria Townsend, Secretary of the Cronulla School of Arts Inc.
Hope to see you there- Wednesday 7 March at 7.30pm in the upstairs meeting room Cronulla School of Arts Surf Road Cronulla.

December Meeting and Merry Christmas
We are coming up to our last meeting for 2017.
Thanks to everyone who either took part in the Pop Up Shop during November or who came along and purchased a special piece. It is so encouraging when our pieces are able to find new homes as gifts or for your own home.
We will have a short business meeting and then spend time catching up over some festive food and take the opportunity to share a Kris Kringle Lucky Dip.

Next Meeting - 1 November 2017
Members and guests are invited to our November Meeting which will be held in the upstairs meeting room at the Cronulla School of Arts at 7.30pm, Wednesday 1 November.
If you are a local potter or have an interest in pottery you are welcome to visit.
One of our members, Christine will be talking about the technique of 'Naked Raku'.
We then have supper and our general business meeting.

September meeting - at Cronulla
Dear Members and Friends
Join us for an interesting talk about travel in Morocco and Japan by well known local teacher/firing technician, Di Brock.
Tomorrow night, 6 September 2017 at 7:30pm at the Cronulla School of Arts upstairs meeting room.
We have our talk first then a short break for a cuppa before our business meeting.
Hope to see you there...

August Happenings
Our August meeting will once again be held at the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre in the pottery studios.
Join us at 1pm for a demonstration of airbrushing underglazes with Tanya Bechara.
After the demonstration we will hold our monthly business meeting.
Sunday 6 August 1pm to 4 pm
The following weekend we shall be taking part in the Cronulla Creative Life Winter Night Market
Saturday 12 August from 4pm to 8.30pm at the Cronulla Anglican Church on the Kingsway.
Our big event for August is the National Open Studios Event which comes under the Australian Ceramics Assn of which we are a member.
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 from 10am to 4pm will see us at Cronulla next to the School of Arts on the corner of Surf Road and Surf Lane.
We will be raising funds for Assistance Dogs Australia and will have pots and sculptures for sale, Demonstrations on the wheel and pottery paraphernalia for sale. Clay, tools and more.
Make a day of it and visit other potters in the area - see the map on the ACA website here:

You can come by train or if driving park near the beach or in the multi level parking station in Croydon Street and walk up.

Special pots for you to buy
Dear Friends
This Sunday 23 July from 9am to 2pm we shall have some very special pots by our members on Display at the Gymea Tradies Club on the corner of Manchester Avenue and the Kingsway at Gymea.
The entry to the show is free and there will be many collectors of Australian pottery buying and selling on the day.
